Beyond the clock, Elmtrackr lets you record what a shift went on. You attach tasks to a shift, adjust them later if needed, and let suggestions from your own habits speed up the common ones. Reports can then show hours, overtime and estimated pay grouped by task.

Attach a task to a shift
When you clock in, you can attach one or more tasks to the shift to capture what you were doing. The task detail is stored on the shift itself, so the record of your time carries both the hours and the work behind them.
Add or change tasks later
You are not locked into what you picked at the start. You can add to or edit a shift's tasks afterwards, which matters when a shift turns out differently from how it began or you simply forgot to note something.
Suggestions from your habits
To save repeating yourself, Elmtrackr suggests tasks based on your habits — the patterns in what you have logged before. The more history you build, the more useful the suggestions become, since they are drawn from your own record rather than a generic list.
Reporting by task
Because tasks live on your shifts, reports can group your hours by task and show the regular, overtime and estimated-pay split for each — so you can see not just how long you worked, but how that time was spent. This feeds into the wider work-hours reports.
